oh ya!

So now that Criterium season is in full throttle I am finally starting to feel like I can get out of my own way….barely.
Rolling all around the USA for random 2hr or less criteriums is not the worst way to do ones job, but it does get a little fatiguing to travel so far for such a short one day race. Luckily for the “American Crit Racer(s)” here in USA we have this crazy week called Superweek or the International Classic that is nearly a full 3 weeks of crits! It is great as a rider can pick and choose what he or she wishes to participate in….well in most cases motor pace in as these races are not slow.
I have just gotten my whistle wet with a few races so far and I can say that it ain’t easy at all!
I was able to take advantage of an amazing local race in the STL, MO area called the Soulard Criterium. This race is held in the French quarter of STL and it is an amazing venue. I had some great heckling friends all around the course John, Peder, random riders in the race, Stacey, Amy, and a few others. I do love racing back in the Midwest as it is like a reunion every time.
No I am rocking out at super week with the one and only heterosexual life mate I have the notorious Mike Friedman. oh ya! Its Shake and Bake time!!!!!!
I need to give a quick shout out to the hard men of Kentucky, Nashvillecyclist.com

Hi Brad…Appreciate you taking the time yesterday at Whitnall Park to chat with our son Jack. He was excited you took the time and of course the packets of Jelly Belly’s. Good luck at the remaining SuperWeek races. If you need a place to stay when in the area, give us a shout. Dave, Rusty and Jack
Hope you and the boys kick some butt today! I’ve got pics up from Monday on flickr:
