BT EPIC! OMG!!!!

WOW! It certainly was Epic!
The BT Epic stands for Berryman Trail that is located in the Mark Twain National Forest area just south of Saint Louis, MO. This Epic MTB race that happen yesterday October 26 but I will certainly be talking about it for another several weeks with all my mates that participated.
The BT Epic is a 57 MILES mountain bike race……yes 57 MILES….well 56.6 but at that point it is 57. Nealry 90% of this race was single track that is some of the best around. Had it not been for the fact that I was on my bike for 4hr 43min I might have actually enjoyed the trail more. Technical trail with short climbs, fast sections, steep sections, fast flowing sections, fun sections, horrible sections, thinking your lost sections, mentally destroying climb on pavement section, then nearly 5 miles of gravel roads to take you home!
WOW! That thing was EPIC.
This first year race had some of the best payout I have ever experienced for a mountain bike race and next year it is going to be even better! What can I say “Crazy” Scott Davis of http://www.springfieldbicycle.com/default.htm and is crew of only a hand full put on a damn good race.
29ers, 69ers, 26ers, Single speeders, Ridged riders all had an amazing ride because of all Scott’s work.
Thank you again Crazy Scott.
I didn’t win, but came damn close for a “roadie” as I heard a few people say, but if you remember I started on the dirt! 45 seconds close to be exact! If my ischial tuberosities were not so tender I might have been able to catch him, guess that is where the pampered ass of a roadie get pounded. But Friedman can tell you I only pitch, so no!
The best part of the whole weekend was that I borrowed the MTB from East Coast Brawler Cale. He had to get the MTB out of his attic and we built it up on Thursday, I rode it around neighborhood ditches for an hour on Friday, then raced it on Sunday! I had not even ridden a MTB since last November or October! I was dialed and liquid latex saved the day.

Nice work “roadie”. If I can get you on a real MTB and you will dominate, unless, of course I get off the couch and ride…then your dead and all women will lose respect for you.
attic bikes rule.
go attic bike, go.
THANK GOD HUFF FOUND HIS MTB, I AM SO PROUD. Does this mean you’ll be my teammate for the race across the great divide?

It’s like climbing mt. everest 7 times, can you say w00t?
Nice Ride Brad! Glad to read you’re keeping busy. Was Meatball there with the liquid latex? Oh wait. Nevermind.
Enjoy this off season!
When the road season ends, you switch to MTB? Nice job for using an attic bike! Enjoy your off season, be ready to dominate in 2009!
Leave Meatballs Ischial Tuberosities alone man its not right.
3rd at Prologue in Hainan – Nice!
Congratulations Brad on placing in the BT Epic. I was surprised to learn that you were doing the MTB stuff. Way to go. It was also fun seeing you lead off the Tour de Bass and just out on the road between Spfd and Fair Grove. Thanks for keeping Spfd home and being visable.
