so what happened to Huff

I have been away for a little while as I have been recovering after the Tour of Misery and enjoying some well deserved time with friends. This short break is just a refresher to my system before I start up once again for our Team Jelly Belly should be off season races….Sun Tour in Australia and the Tour of Hainan (island) off the southern coast of China.
I am so glad to have made it through this years Tour of Missouri with much better results and performances than last year. I do not know if you all realize, but this was WAY harder than last years tour as we had to heavy hitting teams going after the big overall victory. Several days in a row the pace was well above normal, even to the fact that one of the heavy hitting Roman Kreuziger (Cze) Liquigas came up to me and stated “in America…50% Hematocrit….NO!…..60%!!!!!!….this is crazy!” yes, yes it was Roman! It was great to have such a powerful group this year and for me not to get totally shit canned! I am in such a better place both mentally and physically than previous and it showed.
hopefully I carry some of that great for in to the Sun Tour as it is not a little race to just show up with a great beach tan and no real miles underneath your legs.

Too funny about Roman! You have definitely improved from last year’s ToM. Good luck in Australia! Have a good rest, all you guys deserve it.
Happy to hear you are in good spirits. It was really great and a lot of fun to follow you guys all week at TOM. You guys are certainly the best with the fans for sure!!! Thank you! Best wishes and good luck at the upcoming races!!!
Brad, all good news….awesome results. Have fun in Australia!
Make me feel like shit for not finishing why don’t you. Physically I suck, mentally I’m blown to pieces. I’ll be lucky enough to recover for next year.
Bird you better hang in there. And you should find some smiles as, if the day (in a very far off time) comes that you retire, you have a pretty good shot at media for the races!
Brad, this year’s race was awesome!! And you did so well!! The team was riding great. The peleton almost beat us to Rolla, you guys were way ahead on time! Have fun on the other side of the world!!
Have fun in your should be off races! Especially in Australia. It was great seeing you in the parking lot, instead of on the pavement! Keep up the good work!
Sure good to hear from you when I do. GODSPEED be with you always, I’m one of, if not your most faithful supporter! LOVE YA SON!!
That’s cool that dad can put stuff up here for all to read… it’s nice that he shares that with the rest of us. I hope he takes something from what your friends and fans put here… not just for the racer, but for the person. Put the big dog on down under…
Hey, remember when you said you were going to stop jerking off because you thought it was making you too week when the race came around? Those were the days! I hope you know I’m going to challenge you to a CCX race one of these days, you best be ready! Awesome job on the TOM.
Tear it up Down Under!
